Dee & Thelma are in Weiser!

HEY! Dee just left after investigating my pump noise. He can’t really find anything wrong but is going to talk to the pump guy again. He also stopped up a hole to under the house … back where the dog house by the back door into the spa bathroom. Rudy had pulled out some pink insulation from under there and there was clear access under the house. It was warm, there and I suspect other animals had gotten in there to keep warm. I don’t think the dog went under the house but I guess I can’t really be sure. Anyway, the hole is plugged and it wasn’t that hard.

I think all of Thelma’s family is going to be here this weekend. They are attending some instructional meetings down at the Senior Center to help older people get their wills and financial matters in order before the actually pass on. He told me last time he was here that they were going to try and get here again before winter. I think he said that Wilma and her husband are going to be her tonight and they are planning to take Rella to the dance at the Senior Center. I don’t think Dee is a great fan of dancing and they are planning to come to my house tonight. Dee says they are going to paint Rella’s house Saturday. That will be nice. He also put air in my lawnmower tires and that is good. I need to get a tire pressure gauge. I used to have one in the jockey box in my other car. I don’t know what happened to it. I better invest in another.

Dee wasn’t going so they are kinda planning to come here tonight. Not sure what we’ll do. Thelma is going to use the Bosh to make rolls for a Saturday Family Reunion sort of meal so she may be planning on that tonight. I’m not sure. Maybe she’ll just take it tonight and make the rolls at Rella’s tomorrow. Either was is fine with me.

Dee is convinced I need a website for my cards. I need to get online and see if there is some software I can get to show me how to do that…There is a lady here in town that does websites…John Carr is married to Cheri and she has done some extensive web-site design. I need to talk to her about it. I’m sure I have heard John say that she is not doing that anymore because blogs are so much easier to maintain. Either way, I need to find out about it. I was thinking I could talk to Cheri and see if I could pay her to make me a web site and let me watch her do it so I could learn to maintain it myself.

Dee and I discussed the search engines and if you have to pay them money to take people to your website. Dee thinks they just find all things or sites on the web that have to do with what you search for. If that is the case, how do they determine the order of the search results? When I search for something I rarely look past the first group presented.

OK, so here's a picture of my baby dog. He's much cuter than it shows in this picture! He does like to run! I'm quite determined to learn about this blog stuff so I can have a blog for my card company. Not exactly sure of a company name....Here are some I like. Please give me your opinion.

Hello! 08/20/07

No one has participated. Thought maybe Mary Lou would but maybe it's not as easy as I think...Got a call from Dee yesterday. He and Thelma are going to stay up at thier campground for the winter ... They get an average of 10 feet of snow there and they have 7 miles of road to keep clear for those who still go up there. Sound kinda exciting. I've always wanted to live someplace where they get the much snow...Dee's a little more excited than Thelma. They are going to move out of their 5th wheel into one of the cabins. The fun thing about it is that if they don't like it; they never have to do it again! Oh, also, they want Dee to be over the missionaries there at the campground. Can't remember what Thelma said the actual title is but it will be a little like being a mission president. Fun to talk to them!! Actually I talked to Dee and Thelma was telling him things to tell me while he was fixing him something to eat. He was praising her as we talked.

That is my new identity. I think they call it a display name...What do you think? I don't know how to get this to anybody else. I decided the best way to figure it out was just to do it...We'll see how it goes.

The other night I was out picking up dog messes before I mowed the lawn. I like to have it done, don’t really like to do it but try to do it once in a while. I think of it every week but usually when I’m already mowing…Understand, Rubberband? “-) Anyway, I was all leaned over and here comes Rudy, just blasting up to me! He got right under where I was leaned over and raised his head to look at me and SMAKED me right in the lip. It rather hurt and it must have hurt him, too, though he didn’t hold his head like I reached up to touch my lip. “-) Now, I’m really careful about making sure I have plastic sack between the mess and my fingers…but it’s hard to be sure after you have picked up more than two…And I didn’t think of it in time to stop myself from touching my lip. It was somewhat of an unpleasant thought! This morning my lip has a kinda blue/purple spot on my it but no one has said anything about it so they either haven’t noticed or don’t want to embarrass me about my abusive relationship. "-) Little do they know, it’s with my dog!
